Crockpot
Makes life a little easier, 2010-04-12 Great for cooking hearty old fashioned meals without all the time and care our grandmothers employed. I've cooked lentils, beans, beef and chicken in it, and you just put all the ingredients, a little water and wait 8 hours in low. I even put the potatoes as the same time as the meat and 8 hours later everything was perfect.
It's a pity it doesnt have a timer in the pot, so I bought one you put in the plug, so you can leave the house and it will turn off by itself.

3.5L Capacity Slow Cooker with 2 Heat Settings, Keep Warm Operation & Dishwasher Safe Bowl & Lid.
An excellent choice, 2007-01-18 I have not really used slow cookers in the past; I remember my parents using them when I was younger - but recently someone told me they had been given one as a wedding gift and they were raving about it so I decided to give it a whirl. I wanted to opt for a well known brand, so I went for this Crock Pot, and I wanted something big enough to be able to cook for 3 or 4 but also small enough to cook for 2, and this is perfect. It is unbelieveably easy to use, I throw a load of chicken or other meat, with veggies and potatoes in before work in the morning, turn it on low and leave it....by the time I get home I have the most amazing home cooked meal ready, and it's healthy because you don't need oil or butter or anything. I'm hooked! The unit looks great in the kitchen and is obviously really good quality. 10/10!!

NEW! The removable Crock pot can be used directly on the stovetop, in the microwave, in the oven and in the fridge or freezer. Versaware Crockpots are particularly good creating main meals for individuals or the family. Your meal can be prepared before work and ready at dinner time. Meat Crockpot recipes are tender, more moist, and fish recipes are soft and flaky. Crockpot creates wonderful main courses with very little time preparing. Crockpot does not apply heat directly to your ingredients, meaning food is cooked more evenly, without burning the edges. Please Note: All electrical products sold by cookinstyle (InStyle Products Limited) are supplied with a UK 3 pin plug.
Crock Pot, 2010-09-07 This was a replacement for a previous Crock Pot. Which was bought for me as a gift. Been unable to find a replacment lid, I decided to buy a new one. This Crock Pot ticks all the boxes. It doesn't burn food like others and is really easy to keep clean. The only down side is the shape at the top, you need to develope a knack of getting sauce's out.

A LITTLE GEM!, 2010-02-26
I thought very carefully before buying this product and expected to only use it once a week, but it has proved itself on several other occasions. I love being able to use the cooking pot on the hob, then put it directly into the slow cooker - it saves so much time. We previously owned a slow cooker where food had to be browned in a separate pan and I found it very laborious, not to mention the extra washing up!
We have a small kitchen and find the Crock Pot doesn't take up too much work space when in use. The cooking pot is also nice enough to serve food from at the table.
I have also used this to make soup overnight, which is great and am looking forward to trying it for jams and pickles. Overall, this is a versatile little slow cooker (many different foods can be cooked in it) which is perfect for our family and entertaining a small group of friends. The lack of a timer is not an issue for us, but my sister has the slightly larger version, complete with timer if that's what you are looking for.
Whilst this Crock Pot is great for us, my advice would be to consider what you want to use one for and the things that would benefit you before making your final choice.
