This was purchased on the 24/3/2010 and so far there has been no leaks!! Unlike other kettles that have dripped terribly. So yes I recommend this if you are looking for a drip free life!!

Very pleased with this, I wasn't sure what I would get for the money but it is a very robust unit and the light that it gives off is a lot brighter than I expected.

As another poster has said, I think the mini version is perfect for mood lighting, if you want to light up behind the TV or a single wall then this is perfect. If you want to be able to read by it or use it as a light then you need to opt for the big brother.

All in all really chuffed with this product, the continuous cycle function is lovely and it's a real pleasure to sit in the lounge and enjoy the glow.

Very pleased with the overall quality of the product. Unlike some others, it's made of aluminium NOT plastic. It's neat, unobtrusive and does what it says on the tin ! The electrician who fitted it for me was also impressed with the quality.
One slight moan is that on the box it shows a low energy 'stick light' as an optional bulb to use in the fitting. It will NOT take a standard size low energy stick bulb They are too tall) BOSTON Outdoor Security Wall Lightso.....be careful !

Having returned from a wonderful villa holiday in Cyprus, where we had use of a similar product in our kitchen equipment, I could not wait to purchase one of my own. My son in law loves lime juice squeezed in his drink and this machine takes all the effort out of the task. I therefore purchased 2 - one for my son in law, and one for myself. Excellent iron, 2010-03-29
I am very pleased with this iron. I had used a Philips for many years previously, but when it needed replacing I lost all reason and bought a Russell Hobbs. After 2 weeks of frustration I bought this one. It suits me completely. Lots of steam (this can make it rather thirsty but you can use tap water); easy to fill - no air blocks; long lead which I find I need, but may not be of value to others. It is also very powerful so take care with the heat setting and don't overdo it - stick to the guide on the garment. Also very quick to warm up. It is big but a lot easier to use than its size and weight would suggest.

If you want to avoid using the ionising button under the handle you have to hold the handle a little differently from usual. I am OK with that, but why avoid it anyway? I am not clear when and when not to use it so I use it alot. I do very little dry ironing but apparently it is not a problem if you press the ionise button without steam. Anyway, avoiding the ionising button could be awkward. It is OK for me but possibly (?)could be difficult for persons with small hands or a weakened grip.

I recommend this iron.

The only bad thing is that if you have a house with a low ceiling like mine... Be prepared to bump your head several times when entering the room.
