My mother-in-law has a small kitchen and she's not very tall. She also has arthritis. This blender was the perfect replacement for her 70s monster. Why don't more manufacturers design blenders where the jug is stored upside down over the base? It saves loads of space, just the ticket. It's also easy to use, not too tight fitting but no spillage, ideal for weaker hands. I definitely rate this highly - and it's cheap, too!

At last a Blender that works!!, 2010-07-31
I have yet to be disappointed with any of Philips electrical appliances.......and I have had a few over the years. This blender does what it says it will do.....from making smoothies to crushing ice. The sucker feet are very strong making it really secure on the work surface and I LOVE the glass jug! I recommend you read the pamphlet that comes with it as you can 'miss' little things e.g. when my husband used it he did not know that the blades could be removed for cleaning, but that could just be a 'man thing'....when do they ever read instruction books???Philips HR2094 Aluminium Chrome/Black Blender 750w

This is a great product. Single cup basket doesn't really work but as long as you like a double shot, this won't be a problem. I understand there is a £50 rebate going around so this would be a great time to buy. I have had mine for a few years and it is used at least twice a day. Very reliable.
