I bought this mainly for the purpose of making baby food. It works great. Purees well. The accessories are usefull (like the tall jug that's just the right size to puree food using the hand blender and not get splattered). It's also very easy to clean as you can pull it all apart.

I was very pleased with this cover. It was not the cheapest available, but in my opinion was the best. It is made of a very substantial heavy duty plastic, that I am able to wipe down when necessary, as it is situated next to my draining board, and therefore gets a few splashes, from time to time. It has a nice Kenwood Chef logo on the front. Excellent speedy delivery from supplier also.

I checked so many hand mixer reviews and finally settled on this little number. I absolutely love it. It comes with a little stand, the attachments can go in the dishwasher, wonderful speed adjustments and the quality is very good.

Heavy duty piece of kit, 2010-07-09
Just took delivery of this BLX54 blender to replace an old plastic one. There is no comparison, the new one is nice and quiet (relatively speaking), seriously heavy duty - no danger of the goblet falling off or the lid flying off during use.
A side benefit is that the goblet could be used as a very handy weapon:-)

Very easy to clean as the whole blade assembly comes off in one piece, the inside of the lid is some kind of rubbery teflon stuff that rinses clean and the base is easy to wipe.

Also - I just had a look for spares (for future), as this is Kenwood all the bits are easily available although considering the quality of construction it probably won't need any for a long time.

Minus point (but not enough to take a star away) The goblet relies on it's square-ish shape and handle position to pour from the corner but as there is no real spout you tend to have the drink drip down the side.

Excellent toaster, 2010-06-15
I bought this toaster about a year a go and it has been great so far.

Pros:
Quick toasting
Can check status of toast while toasting
Looks good
Works well with odd sized breads/pastry

Cons:
Wish they made version that could do 4 toasts at a time
Temprature settings a bit confusing and take a bit of getting used to.

This is a great compact piece of kit it looks very stylish in my kitchen. It is easy to use, however, the mixing bowl is not huge, it is sufficient for my purposes - making cup cakes for the kids. I don't think it could cope with ingredients for a large cake.

FABULOUS Kenwood Triblade hand blender HB716, 2010-07-03
Amazing machine. I have used it for fruit ice-cream and yogurts. Drinks and also whipping a small amount of cream (with the blades!) Soups too. It is as good as a goblet blender but much easier, quicker and less washing up. It is efficient and very quick. Following another feedback I tried mash potato but it was like glue so I wouldn't reccommend it for that.
Safety wize I am very pleased with it as you can disconnect the blade end easily by pressing 2 buttons, one each side. I do this immediately after use. The blade goes straight in the dishwasher but is also easily rinsed clean under tap. The enclosed jug/ goblet has a lid which doubles as a slip resistant mat. Great design.
Extremely good value for money and very powerful motor.
