What other people say about this product
Average rating of 1/5 Dangerous!!! Do not buy, 2010-01-08
I am disabled with a lot of trouble with pain in my legs, this looked ideal to rest them on during the day. As the previous reviewer stated within two or three days the wood on the base had split but even worse the pad at the top collapsed when I was resting, with the screws which were far too small for the job, having come out as they could not cope supporting my legs. Everything about this is poorly made and frankly it is dangerous, particularly if, like me you have a disability.
The seller I bought from is refunding me and investigating with the supplier, they also accidently sent an internal e-mail to me as well which stated that if this sort of problem occurs again they will need to consider not selling the footstool.... I suggest they read this and the other review and it's pretty clear that selling such dangerous products could land them with more problems than it's worth!!!

Average rating of 1/5 Dangerous item, 2010-06-24
I am an Amazon customer but I purchased this footstool from another source and when I had to return it I came to Amazon to seek an alternative and found the same item.
The Seller states it has a strong frame. It does not. I had mine a week and was sitting quietly, with my feet raised one evening when "crack" the frame broke, near to the hinges as in these cases.
I have returned the item. It is dangerous

Average rating of 3/5 Nice footstool, 2010-04-21
For the price , quite a nice, well adjustable footstool
A bit flimsy though - I have had to disassemble and re-glue it since buying for Christmas 2009

Average rating of 1/5 buyer beware, 2009-12-21
I have just purchased two of these footstools from another source. I thought they looked flimsy when they arrived but after four days of use the hinge has come off and the wood has split. I am returning both.
