Kettle not great, 2009-07-13
After three weeks there was a burning smell from the kettle and it would click off before boiling fully. Toaster is fine but will be returning the items as no good without a kettle.

I saw these on 60 minute makeove and just had to have them !!!!!! I thought they were going to be expensive and was delighted with the price the kettle is a good size and so ae the cups. This set just looks great only thing is I havent used them yet as I havent moved into my home but I just love looking at them !!!!!!!!!!

If I could give this item zero stars, I would.
The toaster seems fine, but I have so far had 2 defective kettles. The first one developed a burning electrical smell after a few months, and the second one would only intermittently make contact with the electrical contact on the base, so it would only turn on unreliably.
Amazon customer service were quick with the replacement (which turned out defective), and in the end were helpful with a refund as I do not want the hassle of another defective kettle.
The design looks funky in the picture, but looks cheaper in real life.
I would not recommend this kettle to anyone.

first set sent to me the kettle would not work
the next set the kettle again blow the light inside but it still works .
didnt see any point trying to send back it as had so much trouble getting the last set sent back
over all toaster is fab any size will fit cups clean up well .
