What other people say about this product
Average rating of 5/5 Best item, 2010-07-11
The Kenwood Prospero Compact is the best product we have ever purchased, the price is good, it gets a lot of use, and the attatchments are so easy to use and above all it saves a lot of hard work and time when baking. Would willingly give this item 10 stars, thank you.

Average rating of 1/5 brilliant just brilliant, 2010-08-02
For years I had the Kenwood Chef, this is what I was taught to cook with as a child,it's the only mixer I ever knew.
However now having osteo arthritis, and lifting problems due to cancer surgery I needed something smaller. The Chef was to big for the work top so lived in a cupboard therefore it needed lifting every time I wanted to use it.
So when the Prospero came out I was delighted.Small enough to live on the worktop, light enough to be lifted in and out of the cupboard.Still as good at doing everything as it always was.A truly dependable and indispensable piece of kitchen equipment.
As for the Chef...........my youngest daughter has inherited it !

Average rating of 4/5 Prospero Mixer, 2010-07-10
I picked the prospero mainly for its size in the first instance as space is at a premium. The prospero can be used in situ on the work surface below the wall cupboards so thats a plus.
Does everything it says on the tin so far with no complaints. No doubt time will tell as far as durability is concerned.

Average rating of 1/5 Non-delivery, 2010-04-14
I would love to post a review of this product, which I purchased on 5 March 2010. The estimated delivery date was 17 march to 23 March. When this item had not arrived by then, I went to the local DHL office, who directed me to the local PO. Neither of these offices had the item.

On the 29 March - TWO WEEKS AGO!! - I emailed DHL, and received a response which said they were looking into it. I sent a further email on 3April, the response to which said they were still looking into it and there had been delays due to the Easter break. On 7 April I sent a further email telling Avida that I was not prepared to wait any longer for this delivery and requested that the order be cancelled and my monies refunded immediately. I received a response saying that they were still investigating this and would get back to me.

I am at a loss as to how I can get my monies refunded from these people. They seem to think it is acceptable to keep telling me they they are investigating this and will get back to me.

I AM NO LONGER INTERESTED IN THEIR INVESTIGATION OR THEIR PRODUCT.I SIMPLY WANT MY MONEY BACK. THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SIMPLY APPALLING AMAZON.
