I bought the faux leather bean bag chair in black for my son at christmas and am completely delighted. Its a good size, looks like real leather, comfortable (although we thought it had too many beans in at the beginning but after a few uses some of them seem to have compressed and its perfect now. Unlike fabric covers which look grubby quickly it remains smart and new looking. He uses it for many hours of gaming in his bedroom and even brings it to the living room with him when watching TV. Would recommend it to anyone. It's just great to see a present being used and appreciated so much - money well spent!
Amazing!, 2010-02-16
After saving up for months and compiling a wish list for a totally new computer set up, I took the plunge this weekend and bought everything, including this bean bag.
Bought from Comfort Co via amazon and the delivery was top notch: ordered saturday late afternoon, arrived first thing Tuesday. Packing was simply a large clear bag and some tape, so not ideal, but the bag was undamaged so I have no complaints about that.
The bag immediately shapes itself when you sit on it, no shuffling of beans about or trying to wiggle and get comfortable. You can even lean bag and into the bag to lean back more, or lean down and forward to sit upright more, and the bag morphs to you.
Bigger than I expected to be honest, but the perfect size. Leather effect is nice: smart but easy to keep clean, and isn't uncomfortable to the skin as real leather (the faux leather seems soft, conditioned).
I honestly can't fault this bag, and worth every penny I paid. I'll update in a week to see how the bag's coped with day to day life and people spotting it and jumping on it for a week.

My son was given this bean bag for christmas and has been using it since. He says that the actual faux leather isnt particularly comfortable on skin but once he's sitting comfortably, its a great chair. Although sometimes a bit difficult to get it so that you dont slide down it!

I just opened this and tried it out and am disappointed to say that i am not at all happy. In the picture, the beanbag looks so much bigger - but it is tiny, i cannot believe anyone apart from kids could sit on this with comfort. It is supposedly for adults but i certainly am not going to want to sit on it for great lengths of time. I know it is a beanbag, but i was hoping for something raised quite a bit from the floor and with this i may as well be sitting on a cushion as i am basically at ground level. The recline is rubbish too, to have any back support, all the stuffing needs to be in the back, which means you are left even lower to the floor. I'm not at all happy with this and will be returning it - not at all worth the money i paid - i could have bought a comfortable chair for that price! I was really looking forward to using this too!
Thought i'd quickly update this, even though i only just wrote the review. I have just spent an hour sitting in the chair and think that the chair itself is not so much uncomfortable as just smaller than anticipated, i would personally have preferred a larger one. I thought i should mention too that, other people said delivery was very quick - i was nearly a week, which is too long in my opinion.
My review reflects disappointment i think more than badly on the chair, by this i mean that i think i may have been hoping for too much, or expecting something much better after reading all the very positive comments, thus i had high expectations which have left me feeling more disappointment than if i had just bought it without reading the positive reviews. I do think it is much overpriced - it is not worth over £50, had i seen it in a shop - i would have paid £25 at the most.

I have had this chair for a month now and personally I would not recommend it.It came unprotected in a big cardboard box. I was quite suprised when I opened the box and there was no foam or bubble wrap or anything to cover the chair. The faux leather is pretty good quality. I have only put it on the carpet in the living room and the material seems quite strong. However, it is really hard to adjust it to the right shape. It is almost impossible to do it like the nice shape shown on the picture. Even if I do put it up like a chair shape, the beans inside just go either to the front or to the back after 2 minutes.
I think it is a lot of money to pay for a chair which does not hold to its shape.
