Russell Hobbs 14451 Food Mixer.
I wanted a inexpensive food mixer and this fits the bill well enough.

I actually returned this item to amazon. It arrived and I unpacked it and plugged it in and the beaters went like stink. However on reading the instructions it said to run the mixer for 3 minutes and then to rest it for 5 minutes to cool the motor down,this is fine if all you wish to do is to knock up a yorkshire pudding or whisk some egg whites but not much use for longer processes. I think I'll stick with my ancient kenwood until it gives up the ghost. I think that this would be better listed as a high speed whisk, not mixer.

Very good with the 6 speeds being very useful. A little limited by the short length of the beater blades and difficulty in inserting them - this is improving with time.

Dont let the thought of 6 speeds seduce you into thinking this is a versatile controllable mixer because it isn't. All speeds are fast and all lack the control needed when whisking egg whites, cream, etc etc. In addition the button to remove the paddles is awkward and requires the power to be turned off to operate - not what you want to be fiddling with when a quick wash of the paddles is required to mix the next part of your recipe. Not a good purchase.

Really miffed. Bought this some weeks ago, tested it and it seemed to work ok. Put safely in cupboard, unfortunately didn't bother with keeping packaging so unable to return it, and the first time I went to use it it failed me completely. Checked fuse, checked wiring, but nothing evident and my husband checked and confirmed no power going through it. Thoroughly ticked off and certainly can't recommend.
