 Poor teflon coating, 2009-12-10
Not even couple of weeks of use the teflon coating of this cooker has started to "bubble" out, now this is unacceptable as teflon coating is the life line of rice cookers. All this, despite care taken in its washing and using the wooden/plastic spoon. I have been using rice cookers for many years now - their teflon coating was not as bad as this cooker. Sorry, not recommended !!!! and will have to return it.
I would also like to add here that the sellers do not mention some vital aspects of a rice cooker:-
a. What is the minimum amount of rice you can cook in a cooker (only the maximum amount is mentioned eg. 8 / 10 cups)
b. what is the capacity of the cooker (in litres).
Not very good and unreliable, 2010-03-03
We bought this in April 2009, here we are in March 2010 and the second one has just died. The first was replaced after less than 6 months (customer service was excellent). Other issues are the lack of a keep-warm function.
Not good for one person or small family, 2010-02-28
I have owned many rice cookers and this is one of the worst ones I have ever had. It is poor value given it's price. It will only cook decently if there is four cups of uncooked rice added, and this is enough to serve six people. It is useless for cooking one cup of rice because it ends up burning, even when I add extra water. Next time I will pay a bit more for a better quality cooker.
No good for a couple, 2010-01-10
When my kids lived at home this was great, but I dont use it any more. It makes far too much for a couple and the minimum is 4 portions. Quick and easy to use though and easy to wash. Came with a recipe book with other ideas in - biryani etc.

Product still going strong 5 months since getting it. Don't use it much as a rice cooker as I live on my own and for the min of 4 cup requirement is too much for a single person, but I do use it for my pasta and love it.
