Very Smart cafe, 2010-07-05
Brilliant idea. Saves me wasting a load in a cafetiere. Keeps the coffee hot for ages. Only 2 small issues: it does let a few grains through. I don't notice it so much as I have it black but you see them when you put milk in; and it would be even better if it came with a lid so you could transport it. Get one though.

This is an excellent mug.
My wife sometimes uses the mug for normal tea or instant coffee (not really coffee in my eyes) as it keeps it warm for so long
When you use it as a cafetiere its excellent, so quick and easy and no bits.

Love this product. Keeps the coffee hot if you choose to drink from this cup. I tend to pour it into a mug or into my thermos cup from starbucks - which fits nicely into my cup holder in my car

Would be even better if it had a lid/safety top., 2010-06-04
Great cup with an integrated plunger to make a nice grain free cup of coffee. Unfortunately for me I bought it thinking it had a lid/safety top and it doesn't.

I haven't marked it down because of this but thought others might like to know before they buy it....

Works as well as any more expesive mini-cafetiere and without the possibility of shattering glass. It's a little stiff to get the plunger going, but in my opinion, this at least means there's a solid seal to coffee grounds out of your drink! Haven't owned long enough to know how long the rubber seal will last.
