This was a perfect house warming present for a family member. They love coffee and this espresso maker makes the perfect cup - I know because I tried it myself when I invited myself over for coffee.

I'm not a coffee expert so I'll keep this brief...

This is the first Espresso maker I've owned, previously having only ever used instant and a cafetiere; I just read all the good reviews and thought I'd give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised at just how simple it was - fill bottom section with cold water, add coffee to the filter,screw top on, heat for a few minutes and that's all there is to it! The coffee was tastier than any I've made using my cafetiere despite using the same beans, also on my second attempt when I treated my Mum to a cup too she absolutely loved it (I used a little evaporated milk rather than the milk frother which seems popular)!

As previous reviews have stated it is very well made and solid and the 6 cup produces approx 300ml of espresso. The instructions also recommend only cleaning it with water rather than any kind of detergent which is a bonus as it saves a bit of time!

Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend!

Very impressed with this coffee maker, easy and quick, so glad I never purchased a electric machine. The only negative is the maker stains inside very easy.But don't let that put you off. The coffee is superb!

Arrived a lot sooner than I expected. Easy to use. Makes fantastic coffee very quickly. Keeps it warm for ages, if not drunk straight away. Very easy to clean. Looks good. Solid construction. Would highly recommend.
