We have had the same product for a number of years, but it became so worn and chipped through continual use that we have bought exactly the same one as a replacement.That is an endorsement in itself - we have always been completely satisfied with the way that the slow cooker has worked and lasted. It's great for cooking anything that needs to be cooked slowly or where you haven't the time to stand and watch over what you are cooking. Excellent product.

We brought one of these back at the beginning of this year. We've used it for vegetable stews/hotpots. Very easy to clean and for storage. Smells the whole house out when cooking it. Get thing to have for the winter months, especially in this cold icy weather. Cannot fault the item. Would recommend it to anyone.

Great new way of cooking for me!!, 2010-03-04
This is my first slow cooker and i am impresssed with the results. The only negative side is the maximum number of hours you can cook for but that can be solved by simply extending the cooking time. I noticed someone else say that the lid doesn't fit snugly and yes i found that too, but no steam seems to escape and as it only uses the same amount of electric as a light bulb who cares! My final thought is slow cookers are only as good as the recipes you put in them and one recipe book that i recommend is 'slow cooking curries and spicy dishes' by Carolyn Humphries.

Slow cooker heaven, 2010-03-16
This slow cooker is just great! OK, the first time I used it the vegetables were not properly cooked, which is a bit of a disaster for a vegetarian. A friend told me to heat the veggies up before putting them into the cooker, and I haven't looked back. (I actually heat them on a plate in the microwave, eg two minutes for two biggish carrots - after slicing.) Having recently discovered Moroccan food, I add some spices to make my own version of a tagine without the fancy pottery. Yum! And I don't have to slave all day. It suits me to prepare food in the morning and set the cooker going. Then I can live my life for the rest of the day and come back to a well-cooked and delicious meal. In between times, the cooker is not too big to tuck away neatly into a cupboard. My new toy ;-) I love it!

Cooking made easy, 2010-02-27
It's not the most expensive but it works wonderfully well. The autocook function is slow cooking made easy. Stews and pot roasts are now easy, wholesome and not expensive to make. Well made and easy to clean.

I have had slow cookers before, love this one, but shame that the instructions and any receipes were sparse. I had to buy slow cooker recipe books via amazon, but on receipt they were not for this cooker, so I start again.............BUT the cooker is great
