We purchased this microwave after a couple of years of very poor microwaves! So several manufacturers and models later we were once again looking to replace an inferior microwave. This time we decided to make our purchase based purely on valuable information such as customer reviews, I am so glad we did, The microwave was unpacked and busy cooking baked potatoes literally within the hour. The result was perfectly soft potatoes with crisp skins after a mere 28 minutes. Since this initial use we have cooked rice and various other foods to perfection in a fraction of the time and power consumption of our conventional oven. We found the controls so simple to use and the display screen informs you at every turn what actions to undertake. It comes with a comprehensive instruction and recipe booklet. If you are considering making a purchase you really wont be dissapointed in this product. The ceramic plate is yet another great asset to the overall quality feel to this great product.

I was a bit sceptical at first to buy a product that looked good and was cheaper than others but i am very happy with it. It is perfect sized for my small family and simple to use. It looks great and i have no problems so i would definately recommend it. It is not large so is not suitable for huge bowls/dishes but i dont use them.

This is a neat, compact microwave which takes up very little space in the kitchen. It's easy to use and user-friendly. I purchased the steam version rather than the grill. The steam unit that it comes with is very good, well-constructed and efficient. After selecting the correct steam option for the type of food that needs to be cooked, the weight needs to be added and then the machine works out how long to cook for. Everything I have cooked this way has been done to perfection.

The only downside is that the inside height could be better - make sure your utensils will fit in.

our last daewoo failed after 8 years. i needed a microwave asap especially with a young baby in the house.
went on amazon found this product. does the job for a great price.
other reviews comment it makes a noise if the door is not opened, this is a minor problem.
if you want a microwave without all the fancy grill/cook features buy this model.
