Sturdy, heavy duty blender, 2010-07-29
We love this blender because it's so sturdy. It's quite heavy to hold but does a heavy duty job. This was a replacement for an identical blender we'd bought previously as part of a set that came with a measuring beaker and mini-food processor. The motor went on the previous one after several months of abuse - we use it every day to do baby food and you need to have enough liquid in that the blade doesn't jam on the hard meat! (So I'd say it was probably our fault it went). We were pleased enough with it to buy the same one again.

Miraculous, fire and forget, magic gadget ! U need one of these !, 2010-08-27
I've always cooked my own rice and judge water to rice ratio by eye. Its just something you pick up if you have had to make rice for over 20 years :-)
Anyway, I was at a friends one weekend and it just amazed me that they were able to concentrate on cooking the food rather than having to continually check the rice pot all of the time especially as there were 12 of us over for a spot of impromptu dinner.
When they'd finished cooking the chicken that we were having, they had piping hot, perfectly fluffy rice to go alongside, all thanks to this marvelous gadget.
Sure, you may be able to cook perfect rice or indeed porridge perfectly, but the convenience of just adding the ingredients and then just leaving it can't be beaten.
I am 100% converted and my wife who actually thinks she can cook better than I can, thinks so too :-)

Word of advise though. The kids will love using this for porridge, its just so easy to use. Just make sure your teenage draughtier doesn't pour porridge and milk straight in to the machine without the cooking bowl being inside of it. That will be the end of your pride and joy and you'll have to buy another one, like I just did :-(

A Great little blender, 2010-06-06
Following stomach surgery my wife has to make extensive use of blending & liquidizing foods.

We bought this primarily because we need a smaller light weight blender fo use in our motorhome. However despite having a much more poweful machine ( which cost over £300) in our kitchen, the smaller Kenwood has earned a permanent place on the kitchen bench. Who knows? I might even have to buy another one to go in the motorhome.

Seriously, this is a great machine, its smaller size is a real advantage and it tackles everything thrown at it without problems. At it's price it represents incredible value for money. Dont hesitate - buy one.

what a wonderful appliance this is!!!, 2010-09-07
this is my first kenwood food processor/blender, received it today with super-fast delivery at a superb price of [...], and i gotta say, damn i'm over the moon about my purchase. it has evrything one would need in a kitchen. it seems well made, all except the main processing bowl, the plastic does look cheap, and very thin. they dont make appliciances like they used to. but then again, its the same with everything else. i always read user manual first before diving into any apparatus, and machine doesnt seem to have any design faults as yet, but only time will tell. machine looks the part, am just running out of space to put all the lovely little extras. 5/5! would definitely recommend to anyone willing to invest in value-for-money, quality appliance!
