Fast delivery, even with the free option. Having read the comments about adjusting the tool height I started with doing that - they were a long way out. It really is important to check, but to be fair its hard to miss the warning stickers!
Overall I'm very impressed - time has resulted in a few changes in materials and its not as heavy as the old one but I think that is probably a good thing!

I bought my Tefal Actifry about a year ago and I use it about once a month. It makes lovely chips. Peel(no more than)a kilo of potatoes and cut into chips or wedges, give them a good rinse to remove the starch, then pat dry. (I spread the wet chips on a clean dry tea-towel and use another one on top to remove as much moisture as possible). Place the chips in the pan and sprinkle the spoonful of oil over the top. Close the lid and set the timer for 35 minutes and then press start. An important point to note is that the timer is independant and doesn't turn off the cooking when the time is up so food will burn if left. The non stick pan is easy to wash. The earlier model had some complaints because some were reported as having caught fire, but I own the newer design that has a fanned vent at the rear. I haven't experienced any problems at all.

Wonderful invention! Have only had it a short while but have already made good use of it. Worried that I was not filling it up enough but it seems to be cooking fine. So useful to be able to prepare a meal in advance and have it ready to put on the table with minimum of fuss. I recommend it!

After being sick to death of poor quality shop bought bread we decided to give this a go. Haven't looked back since and would highly recommend it.

Fresh bread with fresh ingredients. Its so easy to use and clean.
Only down side is you can only produce a one size loaf, but no other complaints otherwise.

Definitely recommend a bread keeper to go with it to store your loaves as it keeps them fresher for longer

I bought this slow cooker from Amazon UK as a present for delivery to my son in Germany. It was delivered before the time promised, in perfect condition and was cheaper than buying the same product in a store in Germany.

Its a brilliant idea for anyone who is out at work. You just put your meat and veggies in the slow cooker in the morning and voila - a perfectly cooked meal that evening.

wish I'd bought one before!, 2010-03-11
When this beautiful machine arrived, I was a bit alarmed at the size! it's 39cm/15"+(including feeder tube), 26cm/10" wide, 19cm/7"+ deep. however, it makes the most delicious fresh fruit/veg juice. Worth getting the bigger stronger machine cos it takes most fruits whole or without much chopping (pineapples, etc obviously need more!) so there's a lot less work, and it does everything it says it does. To make smoothies etc you also need a blender - (Philips make an excellent hand-held one). Although parts do go in the dishwasher, the plasticky parts must go in the top level, and some parts are too tall for that, so not all go in dishwasher. As with all juicers, it does take a lot of fruit/veg to make the juice, but it's worth it - feels like a real health boost, and I'm looking forward to treating everyone in the summer with iced smoothies!!

This has proved to be worth every penny. I just put in all the ingredients as stated in the user manual and set it up and a few hours later I have a lovely tasty loaf of bread. There are so many recipes that are all in the manual that you need never be bored with what you make. I am glad I purchased this item and recommend it to everyone. Brilliant
