This is a great item, smart and compact. Living in Greece we drink a lot of fresh orange juice and use this juicer every other day - making enough for 2 days at a time! The non-drip spout really is non-drip and can be lifted to stop it whilst you empty the container. Pads under the base keep the juicer firm on the counter but are easy to disconnect. Cleaning is a cinch and the machine gets every last bit of juice from the fruit. We have no hesitation in giving this product 5 stars. Manual juicer only used rarely now, for half a lemon when cooking etc. And just for the record, this order reached us in Crete 48 hours after we clicked to confirm the order. Service or what?!

Having also read some of the negative reviews, I was pleasantly surprised with what I got! Build quality is good but you must read the instructions and don't overrun the machine (not sure why you would want to do that anyway?). Not sure you can buy better for under £40.

When the juicer arrived, it only took a few minutes to set it up. Once up and running it made short work of juicing anything that I required juicing. The only drawback as far as I can see is, when juicing oranges, lemons or any other fruit with seeds in it, you have to seperate the segments in order to remove pips from the fruit before putting the segments into the juicer. It does say to do this in the instruction booklet but makes the task a bit messier to do. Taking everything into consideration it is money well spent and I am very pleased with it, hence the five star rating.

Opted for this over some rival cookers (mainly for the Auto setting), and I am very happy with my purchase.

I have done a beef vindaloo and the filling for a steak & mushroom pie so far in it, and it has worked a treat.

I have had no issues with steam escaping the lid, as the condensation creates a liquid seal around the edge. If you move the cooker or lid, this will break the seal and allow steam to escape until a new seal forms, so be sure to set it up in a place where you wont move or bump it until it is done.

Cheaper diced beef was super tender after 10 hours on Auto, highly recommended!

Bought this planning on starting the juice diet that the book that comes with it describes (which I didn't end up doing). But is still a very good juicer, and very easy to take apart and clean. Using it currently to add green vegetables (which I hate eating) to smoothies, and will probably use it when my baby boy is older making fruit juices :) Money well spent!

The reviews are right: you'll never need to buy another juicer. Well worth every single penny. I had a smaller juicer which I never used because it was a pain to clean, it slept in a cupboard for ages. This one turns whole fruit and veg into velvetty smooth fabulous juice in seconds. It's fine to clean or pop in the dishwasher. I laugh every time I use it because I can't believe I deliberated buying because of the price. You get what you pay for. And this is brilliant.

It just works - very well indeed.
Heavy enough not to go for walkies around your worktop but not bulky either.
ALL the juice is extracted, no waste.
