I have a few others of this design and find them rather pretty and nice quality items. This jug is no exception it is as functional as it is attractive, nice to display and lovely to pour from. This is a nice shaped jug too.
I bought it mainly to display in my kitchen as I already have a plate on the wall, the utensil jar with my wooden spoons in and a storage jar on the shelf.
Its all very well using a glass or plastic measuring jug but for gravy or milk its nice to have a pretty jug to use for a change. Will go after the pint jug next for custard.
Originally bought the utensil pot when my kitchen had a revamp as it had red in the pattern but liked the design so much decided to collect some more items in the set.

I have a small delonghi and the steam isnt the most powerful and have finally given up steaming for two lattes, this jug is small so i can do the milk quickly and texture it well the spout allows latte art. It is very small though so make sure you leave enough room for texturing before you buy-great jug though.

Now I can make 2 cappuccinos at the same time!, 2010-08-22
This replaced a much smaller S/S milk jug which we had for years. Trouble was it only took enough milk for one cappuccino at a time. I fill this about 1/3rd fully and in no time at all my new coffee maker steamer has this almost overflowing - just perfect for 2 large cups of cappuccinos. Nice looking polished finish too.

BIG JUG, DOES WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN!, 2010-08-14
I had owned a Tupperware jug for about 40 years but it had started to split at the handle so I decided to replace it before I had an accident with it. I used the Amazon search and found just what I wanted. It seems to be of a good quality and does the job I wanted it for, mixing and microwaving.

I'll update this review in 40 years if it has out performed my old one.

This flask is good in principle but unfortunately the spout got damaged on its first outing. Pours well, good capacity, keeps heat but it didn't take much to break the spout.

I was delighted..., 2010-08-22
to get my hands on Nigella's jugs. A good firm grip in the palm of the hand is needed. but that is a delight with this smooth pale porcelain. I fear a previous reviewer is being a little careless if they need to put their finger in. All in all an excellent experience. Recommended.
