Its my 1st cooker which I bought for my dowry. I've used it at home for checking how to cook in this cooker. It does exactly what is mentioned in its description. I don't feel any need of buying any other cooker now. It has all functions what a cook looks in cooker(s). Unlike many other cookers, your hands won't burn with steam when you will open cooker during cooking the food.

Packing was excellent and delivery was prompt. I'll highly recommend this cooker. Especially, to those who can't afford to buy multiple cookers or have less space in the kitchen. Though it is a bit expensive, yet once you will start cooking in this cooker, you will forget about its price due to its multiple cooking functions and ease of use.

My wife Lynne and I wanted the versatility of deep frying and two items at the same time so when we saw this at Amazon we thought "perfect" and it is. If you are doing chips, 1 basket is ideal size for 2 people and of course if you are doing scampi or chichen or whatever you can time it to perfection as it is in the other basket.A really good fryer !!

After thinking long and hard about the purchase of a deep fryer I eventually chose the Breville DF28. I was looking for a fryer which looked good on a worktop, didn't take up too much space and was easily cleaned after use. And of course was able to cook fish and chips to perfection. I have to say that the DF28 ticks all the boxes and isn't too expensive. I am now looking around for other recipes to try. I think I might attempt some pakora.

Brilliant product, nice and compact that it doesn't take up too much space on the worktop or when it's stored in the cupboard, but more than big enough to fry portions of chips, fish etc for two people. Also cleans easily.

This is the second of these fryers I have had, my previous one lasted me for 6 years.

Would not have any other,have had lots of other fryers in the past which never lasted were a pain to clean, and used loads of oil also the chips would be very greasy.
The great thing with these fryers is that they use very little fat,produce healthier chips,are very economical on oil, and easier to clean, overall a great product.

Bought the smaller 800g, rather than the larger 1kg model - there are only two of us, after all. Good choice - it's neat, compact, dead simple to use, a doddle to clean, and can handle enough chips for two at a single go.
The whole thing consists of five units (frame, tank, lid, basket, plus heater element with thermostat) that are supremely easy to separate and slip back together - no screws, no clips, no clamps, no catches. The frame, tank, lid, basket and element are all stainless steel.
The lid of the fryer has a mesh filter `breather' that allows steam to vent, but stops (most) oil vapour from escaping and congealing on kitchen surfaces.
Rubberised feet stop the fryer from slipping around, and from scratching work surfaces.
There is a drain tap, but you don't need it - either leave the oil in the tank, or lift out the tank and pour the COOL oil via a funnel back into a bottle. My funnel happens to have a grille in the neck that removes debris from the oil - afraid I'm too impatient to strain my oil through a kitchen towel!
Sorry about MickeyD2611's cremated chips - if only he'd read S Dales' review first. We set the dial at 130C for very pale chips, 135C for golden ones, or 140C for dark ones. Or you could cook at 130C, then finish off with a short, tanning boost at, say, 150C or 160C. Whichever way you choose, this easy-to-use, easy-to-clean machine makes great fried chips, or great fried anything for that matter.

I am delighted with George Foreman electric grill. Until recently I have used the smaller model but found that it was a little too small for family meals.
