With a family of five, using our built in double oven caused a lot of problems. Since we bought the Halogen oven, most of the problems have gone. Small and medium food that needs the oven would be done with the halogen oven. It is easy to use and clean.
Highly recomend it as a back up oven.

purchased this based on the reviews and price, has minimum reviews but all good compared to alot of other top brand makes avalible! so i though i would go for it! and im very happy to report it is excellent!!!!!!!!! i plugged in and let protective coating burn off then used it to cook, and its fantastic, fish fingers, mini pizzas, crummpets, or cheese on toast all cooked fast and cheaper than using my 3kw oven grill! so im saving money all round, also its a small unit ideal if u have a small kitchen maybe a flat as me or studio even better as its the size of a large 4 slice toaster,it has the bonus of a glass door aswell! when you open pulls the grill out saving you burnig your hands, as also said in other reviews it does get very hot on the outer case so children should be not be near or using it.

overall its ideall if your wanting a cheap grill/oven thats cheap to run and easy clean i highley recommend.

recieved our h.o. today 2 days after being ordered,it came from one end of the country to far north of scotland (must be a record) used it twice already and what a great machine,go for Andrew James you will not be disappointed.We ordered one from another well known company they took the order but next day they told us they dont deliver to our address this makes me really angry because we dont live on a different planet.I know where i will be shopping in future.

We've had a Morphy Richards breadmaker for the last 10 years or more. It had done well but had become unreliable as the pan kept popping away from the drive. After looking at numerous reviews we chose the SD-256WXC; one reason was that my wife now has a gluten allergy and there is a gluten-free setting on this model.

As soon as it arrived we tried a basic white loaf, and the result was absolute perfection! I was a bit hesitant about following the recipe from the Panasonic book as it said that the yeast and flour should go in first, with the water on top. This was the complete opposite of what we did with our old breadmaker. Anyway we precisely followed instructions and got a perfect loaf. We've also done a loaf with granary flour, using the timer overnight, and again a perfect loaf with a beautiful crisp crust. It's great to be able to make different size loaves, and select how well done you want the crust.

I like the way the pan locks in place with a simple twist; there is no chance that this will 'pop out' like our old one. Also (so far) the paddle has remained in the pan when the bread is removed, leaving a nice clean cut; you don't have to dig it out of the hot loaf. In addition this breadmaker does a proper shape loaf, not a tall square one like our old model.

My only slight disappointment is that the baking cycle is a bit longer than our old one; 4 hours for a basic white, compared with 2hours 45mins. But that's a small price to pay for a really good loaf.
