Great purchase - steam is controllable, from powerful to super-powerful! The steam makes ironing much quicker. Its noisy as it steams, but for me nothing that would be annoying. If you're the type that watches TV while ironing you may find yourself turning the volume up to compensate.

We use this nearly every day & it is so versatile!! The free cook book is really good too - everything that we have cooked from it has been delicious! It is really easy to use and really easy to clean - as it all unclips and goes in the dishwasher - perfect!!! I just wish they did a bigger one (with the dishwasher detachables) and I would buy one of those too!! I would recommend this product to anybody - in fact I do!!!

Best Kettle Yet!, 2008-06-18
Bought this kettle for my parents in November 2007 and it's still going strong. It boils fast and I suppose you could say it's noisy, but the previous kettle they had was a lot louder and slower. If it boils fast then it will be noisey, no way of getting round that really - that's physics for ya baby! My only complaint is that my parents don't push the metal filter gauze back down properly after washing out the limescale flakey bits. You need to push the filter in until it clicks into place - otherwise you'll get loads of limescale bits in your tea! If you live in a hard water area that is.

I like this kettle. I had a Tefal one before which was really fast, which I love and this one is just as quick. It has a strange base, which is high sided, to make sure the kettle doesn't slip or fall over, I presume? It just does the job, so that's why I love it. For the money, it is really great value.

Fast, good looking, easy to clean machine, makes smooth ice cream or frozen yoghurt, 2008-11-14
Out of the box this is a very elegant looking machine compared to most ice cream makers. I had a Philips one some years ago and this unit is no noiser than that, they all seem to make some noise due to the gearing. Freeze the ice bucket in your freezer for 24 hours and its ready. Put on the lid with the paddle and motor and away it goes, pour your mixture in and freezing begins immediately. If the mixture actually freezes completely the machine changed direction to remove the blockage, hence the gearing noise I suspect. In around 15 minutes or less I had lovely frozen yoghurt. This unit is great for small-medium loads 1-2 people maybe three at a stretch but if your looking for family sized then this is maybe a little too small for that. There is nothing nicer than fresh home made lemon sorbet on a hot summers day, trust me or try raspberry (even those from a can) is great with any pie or cake.

Brought this in June 2009 because not only did it have 5 stars from 200+ ratings but also it was top in most reviews. The box isn't the prettiest but it's about the functionality with this gem. The first loaf I tried was curry and mango. 4 hours later I had a medium loaf enough for 3 days food. As long as you following the instructions, it's simple and you create the perfect loaf. Obesity here I come!

have to say this is a wicked breadmaker, its the third one i've owned and actually makes fantastic bread! Even the fast setting has wonderful wonderful bread.

No fiddly milk powder and its incredibly simple to use - would recommend this every time now.
