We have had the same product for a number of years, but it became so worn and chipped through continual use that we have bought exactly the same one as a replacement.That is an endorsement in itself - we have always been completely satisfied with the way that the slow cooker has worked and lasted. It's great for cooking anything that needs to be cooked slowly or where you haven't the time to stand and watch over what you are cooking. Excellent product.

Classic kitchen tool, 2010-03-19
Wedding present food processor died so looked for a replacement. Wanted something solid and reliable, able to take on a lot of work (family of five, lots of home cooking / baking). Thought the Kenwood would be much more expensive and worried it would a flimsier version of the original. It isn't - it's a fantastic sturdy presence in the kitchen and takes on anything thrown at it. The recalibration is easy (it is presumably set high to avoid any knocks in transit). Go for it.

Just what I wanted!, 2010-03-11
The Wahl Mini Grinder is perfect for what I wanted which was to grind seeds, like flax seeds and Quinoa, which cost a fortune to buy in their ground state, so I have already saved a lot by just grinding my own.
The Grinder is easy to use light and very easy to clean. The other plus is that I can easily take it away with me due to size and weight. Great product, and of course you can always grind coffee! Silva

Great bread and gorgeous toast, 2010-03-19
It took me a long time to decide whether to buy the Panasonic as we previously owned a Russel Hobbs model which was never brilliant so didn't get used a lot. However, my fears were unfounded with the Panasonic and every loaf so far has been fantastic. The loaves are light, tasty and keep fresh for a few days. Toast is gorgeous too and full of taste. I now feel guilty that I won't be going to the bakers anymore!!

Perfect....., 2010-03-16
This is my first breadmaker and I followed all the review advice on Amazon which I agree with. I've had the machine for 2 weeks now and have produced 7-8 loafs which have all been perfect. I set it to make French bread today on timer and just got home late from work and the fresh bread smell entering my flat was great. That was followed by a lovely light bread with cheese and wine....superb. Buy it - the bread is loads better than the plastic grey supermarket stuff.

I bought this kettle as I had seen it in the shops locally but the price was much cheaper from Amazon. I find the shape and weight very comfortable to use and it is well balanced. It also looks really nice! It is extremely quiet and very quick to boil and I like the fact you can just put in enough for one mug. The only aspect missing is that the measuring panel does not light up and if it did you would be able to see how much water was in it without having to lift it up to the light to see. Highly recommend it though.

Slow cooker heaven, 2010-03-16
This slow cooker is just great! OK, the first time I used it the vegetables were not properly cooked, which is a bit of a disaster for a vegetarian. A friend told me to heat the veggies up before putting them into the cooker, and I haven't looked back. (I actually heat them on a plate in the microwave, eg two minutes for two biggish carrots - after slicing.) Having recently discovered Moroccan food, I add some spices to make my own version of a tagine without the fancy pottery. Yum! And I don't have to slave all day. It suits me to prepare food in the morning and set the cooker going. Then I can live my life for the rest of the day and come back to a well-cooked and delicious meal. In between times, the cooker is not too big to tuck away neatly into a cupboard. My new toy ;-) I love it!

wish I'd bought one before!, 2010-03-11
When this beautiful machine arrived, I was a bit alarmed at the size! it's 39cm/15"+(including feeder tube), 26cm/10" wide, 19cm/7"+ deep. however, it makes the most delicious fresh fruit/veg juice. Worth getting the bigger stronger machine cos it takes most fruits whole or without much chopping (pineapples, etc obviously need more!) so there's a lot less work, and it does everything it says it does. To make smoothies etc you also need a blender - (Philips make an excellent hand-held one). Although parts do go in the dishwasher, the plasticky parts must go in the top level, and some parts are too tall for that, so not all go in dishwasher. As with all juicers, it does take a lot of fruit/veg to make the juice, but it's worth it - feels like a real health boost, and I'm looking forward to treating everyone in the summer with iced smoothies!!
