Brilliant kitchen gadget, 2008-11-24 I was doubtful when I first saw this, but having spent nearly a year using it at least once a week I wouldn't be without this now. We mainly use it for chips/wedges (adding spices) and roast potatoes (with onions or carrots and parsnips). Everything is turned and cooked evenly.
On the first one, we snapped one of the clips on the lid so got it replaced and are a bit more careful now. Despite this one weakness, I still highly recommend this to my friends.

Great grill for the purpose, 2009-01-02 Had one of the old George Foreman's, but found cleaning it a pain. Bought this one a couple of days ago and it's brilliant. Same great food, no fuss for cleaning. Recommend it.

Please see the REVIEW/PRODUCT DETAILS section below for more information on this product
With the SD255WXC bread machine from Panasonic, youll be able to enjoy fresh, homemade bread whenever you like. The bread machine can be used to prepare white, wheat or even gluten-free breads. You can even toss in some raisins, nuts or other ingredients to spice up traditional recipes.Among the SD255WXC bread machines many cooking programmes, youll even find a convenient fast baking option.
Simply the best in the category!, 2009-01-05 I've had bread makers before and I must say I was already pleased. All top brands and worked just fine. However, this one is really on top of it, it's very simple and always makes great bread.
And I highly recommend this model with the nut/raisins dispenser. It's very useful as you can program the machine to make a seeded bread for the next day (on the ordinary one you can also program, but the seeds/nuts/raisins will be in contact with the rest of the ingredients all night long, ruining its freshness).

Excellent product used also by Delia Smith, 2008-12-12 I love this chopper as it is small and always in the corner on my worktop. It chops all items very well and makes great dips, pesto etc. Quick and easy to use and easy to clean.
Delia Smith also uses this product on her BBC2 programme.

tefal quick cup, 2009-01-05 having read a lot of reviews I was a bit unsure about purchasing the tefal quick cup. I am glad that I ignored the bad reviews, the temperature of the water is perfect for making a cup of tea or coffee. The water container holds enough for a 4/5 good size cuppas. If you are expecting boling hot water then stick to your kettle, but if all you need is water for a nice hot cuppa then this will be perfect for you.

Budget-Friendly Gourmet Nosh (Some Skill Required?), 2008-10-03 I've been using slow cookers for about 25 years. I got the 48715 last Christmas (2007) and it's been serving this family of four at least once a week since. Like any other kitchen appliance, some common sense in its use will avoid any of the negatives I've read here.
A slow cooker is not a 'set-it-and-forget-it' device, and they're not marketed as such. Admittedly the 48715 runs hotter than one might expect, but that's true of most modern slow cookers. In fact the one niggle I have with it is the number of times I've inadvertently touched the hot metal base, but that's me being clumsy. There's a warning printed on the front, 'Hot metal surfaces do not touch.' And even at the age of fifty-something, I can still burn toast occasionally.
If you must leave it unattended, a timer socket (for around a tenner) can be handy, but consider how long the raw ingredients will be sitting at room temperature. Better to set it to come on within a hour of you leaving, and to turn off after a set number of hours. The residual heat will continue to cook the contents for some time, and half an hour on high will get it hot enough to eat.
Use the thing enough times and you'll get to know how far you can trust it to be left on its own.
The ceramic bowl has integrated moulded handles to allow it to be carried to the table and sat on a heat-proof mat. I doubt if I'd try to carry a full cooker by the handles on the base with the power cable trailing everywhere. I don't think that's the plan, Stan.
All in all a great investment -- and a great partner for that other energy-saver, the pressure cooker -- this slow cooker has paid for itself several times over in the last nine months. If it dies on me tomorrow, I'll be right back for another.

Fantastic Fantastic, 2008-12-15 I brought this 5 weeks ago and its now the most used item in my kitchen. I also brought a slow cooker cook book and even my son (8) is eating the meals. its so easy to set up in the morning and we have a really tasty health dinner at least 3 times a week. With fuel prices rising and the credi crunch it is saving me a fortune on my gas bill and also can buy cheaper cuts of meat. I cooked a cheap roll of beef in some red wine for 10 hours and it fell to peices. can not recommend it enough.

Carry on Kenwood, 2008-07-09 My mum bought her Kenwood mixer when I was 14. I inherited it when she died and I eventually ditched it last year - it was getting very noisy - but still worked very well. I am now 60 and I am about to buy a new one but I expect it will outlast me !
Well done Kenwood.

Fantastic , 2008-12-05 After much dithering about buying a breadmaker, I decided to buy this model. I bought it direct from Amazon at a very reasonable price, along with the book, Fresh Bread in the Morning. The machine is brilliant! I have made all kinds of rolls, bread and sweet loaves and all of them have turned out perfectly. The timer feature is great and allows me to wake up to warm fresh bread for breakfast. The other great thing is that I am able to eat bread that is free from preservatives that tastes fantastic.
